26 Million Americans Suffer from Chronic Back Pain*

Chronic back pain has recently been linked to blockage of blood vessels supplying the muscles of the lower back – a condition known as lumbar ischemia. CVBT is currently conducting a proof of concept trial for lower back pain to test whether FGF-1141 can successfully treat chronic back pain. If the results are positive, CVBT plans to file an application to the USFDA to begin a study of chronic back pain patients in the U.S. in a Phase I trial.
